SWITCH POINT SIGNS
we take the mystery out of how to line a switch

If a switch is not lined properly, a train can derail or collide with parked rail cars on the turnout siding. In fact, rail accidents most likely will occur at a switch. The principal cause is a failure to correctly "read" the position of the switch points before entering the switch. Don't depend on the switch stand targets alone to tell you how to line the switch. Our instructive switch point signs give a clear reminder of which track the switch is lined to.
